Bonners Music Superstore has been established for over 30 years and is one of the largest independent musical instrument retailers in the UK. We are a real shop with 10,000sqft showroom and 30 trained members of staff who are musicians. We sell instruments, not boxes, and can give you personal expert advice and attention. Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
Payment Methods
We accept Visa, Visa/Delta, Switch/Maestro and Mastercard. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site, nor any email.
We also offer finance which may enable you to split or defer the payment. Just select this payment option at the checkout, and you will be guided through the various finance options available to you at the time. A credit scoring check will need to be carried out and all credit is subject to status.
Shipping
All products in stock will be sent the next working day. Currently, we offer online ordering and shipping to the UK only. Shipping rates do vary between area and we do not offer online ordering to the Republic of Ireland, the Channel Islands and other International locations.
The shipping method we use is determined by the size & nature of the goods being purchased. Sometimes you will have the choice of different shipping methods. These will be offered to you at the checkout stage of ordering.
For most items, someone will need to be present at the delivery address to sign for the goods. For pianos and some larger items, we will contact you prior to delivery to arrnge a convenient day. We are not able to be specific about the delivery time. Deliveries are made between 8.30am and 6pm Monday to Friday.
No-one at home?
Our courier will try and deliver your parcel(s) twice. After the second failed attempt, your goods will be returned to our warehouse. If you would like us to try and deliver them again, we will charge the delivery charges associated with your order again. You may also choose to collect your parcels from our retail store.
Out of stock items and back orders
When an item is not available for shipping within 2 days, we will contact you immediately to let you know, and ensure that it is shipped the next working day after it has arrived at our premises.
All Our Prices INCLUDE VAT
Tax Charges 17.5% VAT is included in all prices where appropriate.
Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site, nor any email.
Warranties
All brand new items carry a minimum of a full 12 month manufacturers return to base warranty. The warranty on second hand goods varies dependent on the product. The warranty period is stated on the product web page.
If at any time within this warranty period, the equipment fails, in the first instance call us on 01323 639335 where one of our advisers will try and help you rectify the fault over the telephone.
If your item fails within 30 days of receipt, and is not due to mis-use or other reason excluded from the normal warranty, we will exchange it for a new item.
After the 30 day period, we will arrange a suitable repair of the item.
Warranty Returns
All warranty returns must be authorised in advance by calling 01323 639335. If we decide that your item needs to be returned to us, we will issue you with a returns authorisation number. This number must be displayed clearly on the outside of any returns sent to us.
Non-Warranty Returns
You have the right to return goods purchased from this website within 7 days starting from the date of delivery. The goods being returned must be in 'as new' condition. Bonners Ltd reserves the right to make a charge for delivery costs incurred, and also the right to charge a minimum fee of 15% in cases where the goods are not returned to us in 'as new' condition.
'As new' means there are no traces that the packaging has been opened and all supplied contents are present and in perfect condition.
Please note that we do not accept returns of CD's, DVD's, Software or printed music, unless found to be faulty in which case a replacement product of the same title will be supplied.
WEEE Regulations
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (or WEEE) Regulations are now U.K. law. All European member States including the U.K. have agreed to reduce the amount of WEEE that is being disposed of in landfill sites. Click here to see how Bonners are "doing our bit" under these regulations.
